The work-related costs scheme explained

The WKR scheme explained

The Work-Related Costs Scheme (WKR) makes it possible for employers to provide employees with certain allowances and benefits tax-free, as long as this remains within the available tax-free allowance.

The Work-related Costs Scheme (WKR) gives employers the opportunity to offer allowances or benefits to employees tax-free up to a certain exempt amount.

The work-related costs scheme explained

The employee exchanges gross salary for massage treatments at MHC. As a result, he or she pays less payroll tax net and can therefore keep more.

Free space

Employers have an annual tax-free allowance (1.7% of the payroll up to €400K) that can be spent tax-free on employee reimbursements.

No new policy needed

Massage treatments fit within the existing options under the WKR. No complex adjustments are needed to implement this within the organization.

Clear documentation

We handle the invoicing and accompanying documentation in a clear manner, so that it can be easily processed by HR or payroll administration.
